Six Months

Our baby keeps growing. Alex is such a wonderful boy even though he is not such a great sleeper anymore. I keep telling him his looks are the only thing that save him at three in the morning. He is still pretty smiley and very handsy. He has great hand-eye coordination, unfortunately, everything he grabs a hold of ends up in his mouth. His acid reflux is still sticking around, but is not nearly as severe. He loves most baby foods, but I think he wishes he could eat our food by the way he stares at our dinner. His babbling and cooing has taken a backseat to his toys. I hope he picks up his "talking" again because I love that beautiful voice.

Important notes:
  • Weighs a healthy 18 lbs 2 oz
  • Measures 26 3/4 in.
  • has a tooth on the bottom
  • turns when you call his name
  • Can sit without support for about a minute or so
  • Rolls from tummy to back and back to tummy
  • loves peek-a-boo
  • he does razz a lot
  • loves to cuddle
Here's our boy....

Lunch at Sandy's

Beto and Janice were in town this past weekend, so Sandy decided to have all of us over for lunch. It was sure nice to go to someone else's home for a change. We had fun hanging out with the family, but I think Emma and Sebastian had the most fun of all. They finally have begun to play with each other. The game of choice was "chase". I think they can chase each other for hours. I'm glad to see they are finally pals.

Sebastian wasn't too happy after he and Emma bumped heads

Yummm

Nice pic of Janice

We also took a walk over to the farmer's market in Sandy's neighborhood and picked up some delicious candy apples.

Of course we couldn't pass up on the strawberries....they were huge!

By the end of it all, Sandy was a little tired....

It was such a nice Sunday. We should do this more often.....hint hint....Becky....anyone... : )

You Be the Judge

So we've been wondering for some time now, whose smile does Emma have? I think we finally found a match...you be the judge....

too funny

Valentine's Day

This year Emma got to exchange Valentine's Day cards with her fellow classmates at the Learning With Tots class we attend on Saturdays. It was no surprise to me when she chose to hand out Toy Story cards. She loves that movie. After the party she was a little bummed because she didn't get any chocolate. She loves her chocolate!

She wanted to wear this outfit

Toddlers...they could care less about each other

Emma finally had a cupcake after she gobbled up all the strawberries and her raisins
