Cookies

So, after a long weekend of chores, chores, and more chores I decided it would be fun to "bake" Valentine's Day cookies with Emma. Ok, so I'm not the best cook/baker but at least I try. The cookies were not from scratch, but for Emma and I it was close enough. Next time, however, we won't start at 7:30 in the evening. Emma was pooped by the end of the whole ordeal.

Sea Horses

She found her sea horses

This weekend we visited the Aquarium of the Pacific. As we were getting ready to go, Emma asked if we would see any bears. I said we would only see sea creatures. She said "oh, then we will see sea horses!" We were sure glad they had sea horses otherwise she would have been pretty bummed.

Alex Beat R-S-V!

We had a major scare soon after New Years. Alex was infected with RSV. This is nothing more than a cold for adults, but for children under one it can become quite serious. Our poor boy spent four nights in the hospital and had to endure painful tests and treatments. Not to worry, our boy fought this virus like a champ and even his acid reflux is a lot better.

Proof that Alex is doing A-OK:
